Bright Turquoise, Green & Gold Sugarpill Video Tutorial

This is the video tutorial to the Red Hot Fun Look that I did. I used CyberLink PowerDirector 10 for the software side and my Canon Rebel t31 for the video. I did a different set up than I normally use. I wasn’t at my vanity in the bedroom. Instead I was hanging out in my breakfast nook, using a light up mirror & the camera on a tripod. Since I have a viewer on my camera, I can see that I’m focused on myself. However, it looked like my face was in focus and it was slightly blurry :/ so I need to review the auto detection settings. My eye was nice and clear. Anyway, let me know what you think. I’m always trying to improve!

Some products were purchased by me. Others were sent for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Girl on Fire – Look & Video Tutorial

I created this look for Evil Shades. It’s a Hunger Games inspired look. I wanted a vivid coral-orange look, and I certainly got it! I ended up doing this look twice, and recording the video for it the second time. So some of the images are from the first look and some the second.

Kat Von D Wonderchild Purple Nail Gradient

I tried a purple nail gradient, and I think it turned out ok. I love the purple, Kat Von D Wonderchild. I also think Butter London’s Frilly Knickers looks amazing. I even did a little diagram for you to go with it.

Team Pink Eye Giveaway & Look!

I did a wonderful pink look for you for Team Pink eye! I think this is the best cut crease I’ve ever done. I really love the colors I used and hopefully you will too!

To begin, I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I then applied Buxom Smoky Eye stick in 5″ Stiletto to ‘cut the crease,’ keeping my eyes open so that the color could be seen. I used a tiny shade brush to apply Sugarpill Tako to the inner v and inner lid and inner crease. I then used another tiny shade brush to apply Aromaleigh Fanclub to the middle of the lid, blending inwards. Directly on the outside of Fanclub, I applied a bit of Sweet Treat Cupcake, and on the outer lid I applied Rockeresque Misshapes. Then I started working on the crease by applying Sugarpill Poison Plum directly on top of 5″ Stiletto, and then blending it upwards. I worked at this slowly because I wanted to fade the color out as it went upwards. I used a bit of the BH Cosmetics 88 Matte palette in matte raspberry at the upper edge of the crease shade. I then used Tako on the browbone. Where Tako and the matte raspberry shade meet, I used Fanclub and then blended. I added Fanclub to the middle lower lash line, Sugarpill Hysteric to the outer lower lash line and Poison Plum at the very edge of the lower lash line. I added a touch of Lost in Makeup Land Summer Poodle directly under the eyebrows. I defined my brows with MAC Blackberry. I used Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Liner in 13 Matte black along the upper lash line, winged out a bit. I used a tiny bit of Make Up For Ever’s Aqua Liner in 9 Iridescent Fuchsia at the outer upper lash line. I didn’t like how it looked, so I ended up putting more Fanclub on top of it. I used a bit of NARS Via Veneto along the outer lower waterline and Urban Decay’s Yeyo along the inner lower waterline. I then curled my lashes with UD’s lash curler. My attempt at mascara sucked. I tried 3 different mascaras before I gave up.
