Why Shapewear
I started looking into shapewear when I was initially thinking about getting a breast lift and the doctor stated that they can use lipo to make a fat graft to help the breast lift. Little did I know that there would be no breast lift in my future.
Instead, I’m now scheduled for a prophylactic double mastectomy with breast reconstruction surgery and will need breast implants. The lipo used to make a fat graft is more critical in this case because they will use the fat to help prevent implant rejection. Shapewear is important post surgery (after the drains come out) to help ensure the best results in situations like mine.
The other reason I was looking at shapewear like this is because my magical bestie Carlye loves using shapewear bodysuits like this as the base for an outfit.
Shapellx PowerConceal Tank Bodysuit
I received the PowerConceal All-in-One Tank Bodysuit in a beautiful royal blue; unfortunately the royal blue does not appear to be available right now. Royal blue is stunning and looks great on very fair neutral cool skin like mine. It also comes in Black, Ivory, Orange Yellow, and Jujube Red. I’m wearing an XS/S. I typically wear size S or 10 from BlackMilk, and size S or 4-6 from Hot Topic.
I threw on my Qupid Green Multichrome Heels (from Poshmark) and my holographic O-ring belt (this belt is a similar vibe), and star earrings and moon magic hair clips from ISLY NYC (these were PR samples but I would repurchase again if I lost them because I adore wearing them).
The PowerConceal All-in-One Tank Bodysuit in Royal Blue is incredibly comfortable to wear. It’s the easiest piece of shapewear to put on that I’ve ever owned. It provides ample support for my 30FF boobs. It’s actually easier to put on than the AirSlim Fishnet Shaping Tights!

I love to wear haori, what people typically call kimono, style jackets.
The PowerConceal All-in-One Tank Bodysuit in Royal Blue looks awesome with my BlackMilk Stained Glass Eevee Robe.
AirSlim Fishnet Shaping Tights
You can’t go wrong with classic fishnet tights! I adore the Shapellx AirSlim Fishnet Shaping Tights. Though take care if you have long stiletto claws like I love to wear so you don’t rip the tights!
For the look above I mixed Dark Acadamia with Classic Goth Witch Vibes. I used the Shapellx PowerConceal All-in-One Tank Bodysuit in Royal Blue as the base for my look. Fishnets never go out of style, so the AirSlim Fishnet Shaping Tights were next. This sheer Stars velvet kimono robe (by Cadmium Rose) has been a staple in my wardrobe for the past 5 years. The skirt is an ankh skirt by Widow that I’ve had for a long time. The boots are by Earth shoes and I think they’re no longer in business.
The Shapellx AirSlim Fishnet Shaping Tights are very comfortable to wear but I did find them more difficult to put on than the bodysuit, mostly because I worried about ripping the tights with my nails.
Final Thoughts
Who are these for? If you’re looking for a new tank style bodysuit that is incredibly comfortable and provides support in the hot humid Florida heat, the Shapellx PowerConceal All-in-One Tank Bodysuit is for you! I’m sad that they don’t currently offer the Royal Blue color, because it’s so flattering! I would love to see this tank bodysuit in a hot pink and purple, as I’d wear both of those hues! I’m also thinking of picking it up in Jujube Red and Black.
If you love wearing fishnets but also want some shaping with your fishnets, the Shapellx AirSlim Fishnet Shaping Tights might be right for you. They’re very comfortable to wear. I always love how fishnet stockings look with an outfit.
